My best friend and server owner died earlier this month, trying to get ownership of our server

Hi all, my best friend and I created a small server for our friends so we can game together and have fun posting things. He passed away of cancer earlier this month, and everything I am seeing is this needs to be a big discord server and be inactive for 30 days.
Our server is small, comprised of 10 people, and he passed away the 6th of this month... Is this true? I want to get ownership and keep his memory alive here, and I emailed support and I'm getting a similar response here.
