Discord for Android doesn't remember whether I've collapsed channel lists.

A small but annoying issue - I like to collapse all channel lists on the app so that nothing is pushed off my screen, but if I close then reopen Discord it resets them about 90% of the time. I cannot figure out the rhyme or reason of why it remembers that other ~10%.
Any suggestions?
