my friends are stuttering / lagging in discord

First of all : this is no hate post , I love discord and I'll continue using it every day
I noticed that when I play a game which has bad optimization and my CPU Usage gets close to 100% or my GPU Usage gets close to 100% my friends start stuttering in discord , sometimes i can't hear them for seconds? I googled the problem but all I can find is cases where discord makes the game laggy but in my case the game works fine and my friends are stuttering , pretty sure I dont have this problem with high usage on different voice programsAny advice how to fix it ?
