Before there was Discord emojis that all looked the same but if you used an emoji from your emoji keyboard it would appear the way it is on your OS. Now all the emojis are the same and I'm guessing use the iOS emojis (not sure don't use iOS). This is an intrusive change because some client side emojis look a lot better on other operating systems. Not to be biased but I much rather see my own Android emojis than what is in use now.

For example, the flags on Android are perfect and are the best flag emojis on any platform. As a vexillologist, it pains me when I see Nepal 🇳🇵with a white rectangle as seen here.

It's a small thing but I really do like my emojis and don't like to see these ugly emojis. The only one that looks better is 🤔
