I'll start. And this is from... 2001ish. I landed a drive about five feet from the pin wedged in a crack of the rocks in which the pin was situated (Renaissance gold course hole #9 in Charlotte NC, pic added below).

The disc landed on top of a fucking yellow jacket nest.

Those things are mean as hell and this disc pissed them off, so we didn't even putt out. They were buzzing around the pin looking for a fight, but I couldn't bear to part with the plastic being a poor student at the time. At this point I can't even remember what I threw.

I figured as a young and invincible man that I could perform a run by snatch and grab.

Nope.

One of those fuckers tagged the lowest joint of the pinky of my non-throwing hand BEFORE I EVEN GRABBED MY PLASTIC.

I still finished the round, but my left hand pinky and ring finger were swollen about three sizes the rest of that day.

No regrets, but I respect those winged devils even more so to this day.
