Post Body

Hey fine folks,

I am in search of a person knowledgeable and capable of modifying a DualSense controller for PS5 to meet my specific needs. What I require are my L3/R3 "stick click" buttons to be moved to some small push buttons on the back, side edges of the controller (as pictured). You do not have to clip or disable the original L3/R3 actuators. I also need the trigger springs on L2/R2 to be removed.

These NKK Switches come with two sizes of caps. I prefer the larger size (part numbers provided).

I have a wonderful person based in Virginia who has been my go to for these mods for many years, but sometimes he gets busy and it sure would be nice to have another, maybe more local person to call on when my controllers start to wear down. I am located in Saskatchewan, Canada.

I can give you part numbers from DigiKey for the switches I prefer. You'd have to know where the switches solder onto the board yourself, I never did learn where they do on the DualSense board. (I performed this modification myself way back on a DualShock 3 a long time ago before I met my friend who has been doing them for me).

I will pay for the parts, the new DualSense and shipping, as well as a little extra for your help ($150-$165 CAD plus shipping). I don't need any other modifications because I don't trust the DualSense thumbsticks to not get stick drift (which is why I'm currently desperately seeking an additional person to help me). I've learned to not care about controller colours anymore, because it will need fixing or replacing in 6 months anyway. (Why are the DualSense sticks sooo prone to drifting? ugh...)

Thank you!
