Are call outs protected under disability rights?
Post Body

I have a history of an auto immune disease that has only been treatable with humira. I work in the service industry and unfortunately canā€™t afford to leave it right now. With my lowered immune system, I get sick easily and often. I do everything I can to prevent it but it still happens every few weeks and since I work with food I canā€™t really work while Iā€™m sick.

Iā€™ve been written up a couple times for ā€œcalling out too oftenā€ (even though I often can find someone to cover my shift). My workplace is aware of my lowered immune system and health issues, but Iā€™m afraid Iā€™m going to be fired for something I have no control over.
