Is this real?? Are there any tricks to make the process go faster?

I knew it would take a long time, but I didn't realize it was that long. Because after that they still have to deny me and I get a lawyer, right? Don't they deny everyone at first? I imagine that would take another year or so, correct? Or am I wrong on that? I've honestly never done anything court or government related in my life so I kinda have no idea how this all works. At this point I'll do whatever it takes to speed up the process. I'm barely able to walk and desperate.

Side note, am I supposed to mail them all my medical records now? Or do I wait to hear something back?
