So. Long long story short. I'm not formally diagnosed. I've been fighting and fighting to get someone to listen to me but it's impossible any way. My problems include not being able to stand or walk for very long without my heart racing being out of breath feeling faint or potentially passing out. I've been unemployed for 3 years and I want to re enter the work force. So. I wanna buy myself My own wheel chair so I'm able to work. My concern is that I'm not formally diagnosed with anything that would indicate I'd need a wheel chair. If I apply for work I'm worried I'm going to need to provide paperwork as like proof of my need for a wheel chair. The work I'm looking for is in the realm of retail. If anyone has any information about this I'd be very greatful.

Short version: trying to work as an ambulatory wheelchair user with no paperwork"proof" of disability

Further context. I don't take resorting to a wheel chair lightly. It's been a hard decision to make. I use tondread going to the store but I now use the provided wheel chairs and it's been life-changing for me. I figure this could be applicable in other areas of my life as well.
