How am I supposed to get insurance in the US??
Post Body

I used to have insurance under my father, since he was in the Army for a while his family was covered, too. Eventually, that ran out, but my disabilities stayed the same and actually got worse (AuDHD). I tried applying for insurance on the weird marketplace thing, but was eventually told I didn't qualify for any savings and offered insurance at $400 a month... What am I supposed to do? Who do I reach out to for assistance navigating this mess? My Dad has said he's willing to try and get me insurance again, but we don't know what to do to find good coverage for a good price. I'm anxious because a CT scan at the ER revealed some spots on one of my lungs, and if it's cancer I want to attack it as soon as possible. I'm pretty scared to be honest. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I really don't know what to do. We live in Tennessee, if that matters.

Edit: I'm 31

Edit: I have not worked enough for disability
