Hey All. . so I'm a bit lost and have no idea where to start. So I've been with my partner for 13 years. She was able-bodied when we first met., she got hurt at work and basically force her to quit. It was retail and 13 years ago. Never really healed 100% .but at the time we didn't know she had underling conditions. During the years we got tossed around with doctors and different diagnoses and other possibilities . Turned out she has fibromyalgia. She's also considered Obese due to hormonal imbalance due to malnutrition. She is in chronic pain everyday . She also doesn't work and hasn't in the last 10 Years. We've had this diagnosis for about 3/4 years now. So here's my question. Is Disability or SSI able to help her with some basic needs and bills. I've been mainly the person whom brings food to the table and covers bills..
Would anyone have any suggestions or opinions on what I could possibly do.
She is on government assistance (snap).
no children. In our late 30s
Thank you in advance
