Starting this summer, I'll be taking some time between my bachelor's program and grad school, and I'd really like to get more involved with and educated about disability justice. As I have grown more and more comfortable with the fact that I am disabled, the topic has become one of the biggest things on my mind. There are a couple organizations that have jobs I'm interested in, but I don't feel confident in applying without more experience and knowledge.
I'd love some input on how to become more involved from people who have dedicated their time and effort to disability justice in one way or another. Whether it be educational materials like books and certificate programs or ways to get involved in my community, I'm open to anything. Thank you all <3
