Greetings,
My name is Jacob Lesner-Buxton, and I am disability rights advocate living in Santa Barbara. I am also one of the producers of a disability-themed radio show called "Pushing Limits" in the Bay Area that airs on KPFA Friday afternoons at 2:30.
For an upcoming show , we are looking to interview people who have thought about or “outed” others a having a disability in public. What made you decide to out them? How did they react? Did you feel your actions were justified or do you have regrets?
We are also looking to talk to those who have been publicly outed by others as having a disability or are still "in the closet" and concerned about their disability being disclosed. If you have an experience to share or questions, please PM me.
