So, I already plan on talking to a genetic counselor. In fact, i have an appointment with one this month and she might order some testing based on the reports from other websites. Anyways...
On top of my tourettes, my muscles have been feeling incredibly weak and heavy, and i feel like i could drop something or collapse at any given moment. Most of the times it's manageable and i can power through it, but it's gotten worse ever since i donated blood last week. I did find out according to my raw dna file that I have a high genetic predisposition to myasthenia gravis, and I'm going to be discussing that with the genetic counselor, but what should i do in the meantime? I feel like it'd be inappropriate for me to use a mobility aid such as a cane or crutch. But I'm losing control over my limbs and it's scaring the hell out of me and i don't know what i can do about it because I'm currently out of state for college and i have very little money.
