If you live in/around Chicago for any length of time it's almost assured that you're going to run into the quintessential field trip souvenir, the Mold-A-Rama machine. Smashed pennies are nice but they absolutely pale in comparison to the sensory overwhelming experience of feeding your dollars into the vintage machine and watching (and smelling) as a small wax sculpture of a zoo animal or train or whatever else is created before your eyes. and dispensed through the flap like the greatest vending machine of all time.

Now for decades these babies have been spread throughout various zoos and museums but now, for the first time ever, they have their own exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry. We're talking rare molds, unique colors, and a giant wad of 1s that Ive been saving that were supposed to be for a strip club or something. Surely there must be at least one other person out there who loves the simple pleasure of a small wax statue of a panda as much as me.

Here's the thing, I don't live in Chicago. I'm a dirty country bumpkin downstater. Just far enough from downtown to not be a suburb. Anyway, I simply have GOT to check out this Mold-A-Rama exhibit and I'm so committed to that im here writing this ad because I dont want to wait around for months finding someone to go with. Plus, its fun to go on cute first dates and take pretty girls to The Berghoff and hold hands in a museum and make out on their couch after...or whatever.

I'm deeply nerdy yet outdoorsy and I like to get nerdy about outdoorsy things. Lately i've been learning how to find/identify/cook wild mushrooms and plants. Im a big time movie/video game snob but specifically horror movies. Im tall and big with big hair and scary eyebrows. I've been a Dominant for well over a decade now and I got pretty damn good at it.
