When I was at college there was a really nice girl who was in a relationship with one of the final year guys. They'd been together virtually since her first week of college. It became kind of an open secret that he wasn't faithful to her, and that he had cheated on her more than once. Never out in the open, and I never heard her speak about it, but I just couldn't understand why she stayed with him. It must have been so humiliating for her, especially as rumours flew.
I was wondering if you have ever been in a similar situation - or known someone has - and would like to chat about why you stayed or what made it worth staying at the time. This girl didn't seem particularly unhappy, and I don't think she was cheating on him in return (although obviously I have no idea).
So yeah, bit of a weird one, but if you have any experience of being cheated on or of consensual non-monogamy, I'm sure we'll have a lot to chat about. Look forward to hearing from you!
