You know the one. Under a sweatshirt my curves disappear, but as soon as the crochet coverup hits the pool deck the entire complex can see what years of burgers and wings with my guy friends have done to my waistline, thighs, and jawline, especially because of my habit of wearing the same style of swimsuits I was wearing at age 18 when I was a size 2.
Now, those same skimpy triangle cups are straining to hold back my mature teats, the sideboob starting to spill out from the cups. My waistline has a jiggle that never quites goes away when I walk, but the final reminder of my formerly skinny self is that glint of a silver stud in my navel, from those days long ago when my tummy was concave.
