I'm a software engineer and writer. Fit and silly and an absolute challah-wrecking menace. For a long time I've dated non-Jews, but there was always something missing. A shared culture and history is an instant and undeniable connection on a fundamental level that makes chemistry more dynamic, but it's hard to find other Jews to date. Our ancestors raised families through unimaginable hardship and persecution, but they also never had to suffer through JSwipe. Who's to say what's worse?
Maybe reddit is a little better.
I'm looking for something serious and something Jewish at heart. It doesn't have to be religious, but it doesn't have to NOT be religious. I'm somewhere between non-practicing and accidentally breaking Pesach but overall putting in a genuine effort to get through it. I don't believe in boxes, but there are trends. I like musicians and artsy types; nerdy, quiet bookworms; loud, girly brats. If your personality stands out, in all likelihood I'll be into it. Ideally, my age or younger.
I live on the east coast US, in Pennsylvania. I'd love to find someone close by or willing to entertain moving. I'd consider it myself, but I love where I am and my community, save for the fact that I am missing that one ingredient.
Shoot me a DM if that catches your attention.
