Okay so, if she knew I'd opened an account like this, that I was here posting this, she'd be brimming with betrayal and fury. For more than 8 months now she and I have been the only ones who know about this, and in a way that's been good. It gave me space and time to adjust. To accept.

But a guy needs a friend he can be himself with, right? So I guess posting here is a risk I'm willing to take. Granted, I wasn't terribly gregarious even before this, and after this all happened it's seemed more difficult to hang out with people and not feel like I've got the weight of a secret forcing distance between me and them.
