Hi -

I need some book recommendations. My top picks of recent reads are Station Eleven, All the Light We Cannot See, and Pachinko.

And I just picked up my first erotic novel. I must say, I’m not enjoying it! But maybe I picked a bad one. It’s called “Enemies with Benefits” and it’s about a man and a woman who grew up hating each other and now work at the same company. Their attraction gets the best of them and they end up having sex.

The “spicy” scenes are quite spicy. I’d give it 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (at least as I understand the genre’s parlance).

My interest came from female colleagues who said smut was keeping the publishing industry afloat. I was astonished to find this book has 35,000 reviews on good reads and another I saw has 1.5 million!
