So this is all a very true story. About 2 months ago, my wife (she's 31, I'm 32) was struck by a car that didn't stop at a stop sign. She was in the hospital for about 5 weeks with a variety of broken bones, surgeries, road rash burns, and all kinds of various side effects. Before you judge too much, I was there every day and every night, only taking breaks to get the kids up and ready for school and putting our young kids to bed.
That sob story aside, for a variety of reasons, my wife has had zero interest in anything sexual since the accident. She's still in quite a bit of pain and immobile but the combination of pain killers, pain, a lack of confidence about her scars, and the shift in my role from husband to caregiver has just left her mostly uninterested. She's aware of my frustration and generally apologetic, but here we are.
So, while I have lots of people in my life to talk to and vent to, few of them are women and I'd never cross a line with someone in person. But I'm starting to think about crossing a line with a stranger, so feel free to send me a chat if you're interested in asking any questions, meeting me, etc.
