I’m not going to pretend these situations last. I wish they did. I’ve met some really awesome people through Reddit but we all inevitably lose contact. Life gets in the way. We get too caught up to reach out and keep the friendship going.
Maybe I’m just chasing that high? You know the one. Finding someone you really get along with. You enjoy each other’s company, getting to know each other, swapping messages through the day. Maybe she started down the path, or maybe I did, and we’re now circling the sex conversation, feeling each other out. Before you know it she’s seen my post history, wanting to know if I’m really into the things I’ve shown interest in, wanting to try it out, be vulnerable, have some fun.
There’s something fucking intoxicating about getting to know a woman. I want to know what makes you tick. What pisses you off. What little annoyance derails your day.
