I’m somewhat recently separated from my STBX wife, as of mid-June. Getting started on moving on has been hard because we share two kids, and we’re still seeing each other daily trying to sort out the co-parenting element.
I really want to get out of town for a couple days, and spend some time with someone new.
I love to travel, and I have been enjoying the idea of meeting a new woman and sharing a weekend away, somewhere I’ve never been before, be it a romantic encounter or something more platonic. We can explore all the cool things, try new restaurants and bars, and maybe pretend we’re some stupidly romantic couple for the weekend. If we both feel comfortable with it, maybe we’ll even share some intimate moments, too.
Obviously I would want to text for a while, and video chat at least once before booking anything, to make sure we at least like each other before going.
Only posting here because I’d be happy if intimacy was at least on the table when we get there, but it wouldn’t be required or necessarily expected. It could be just a fun, platonic new friends’ trip if we decide that’s the way to go.
