so it’s been quite a rough patch for me lately. because of some recent events i don’t really have many of my friends anymore, and i’ve been feeling really lonesome and empty and trapped alone with my thoughts, so now i’m here to try out my luck and hopefully find something nice :,)

obviously the term “fwb” suggests a “friend”but with added “benefits”. but i want to be really transparent about what i’m looking for. to be completely honest, i’m not the most enthusiastic about making friends, partially because it freaks me out (and i’m not great at it, lets face it), but also because i prefer to have a few core friends who i hold very close to my heart. so first and foremost, i suppose i just really feel like i need a friend right now — someone who i can connect with and have fun conversations and maybe even share similar interests! at the same time, though, i’m a bit of a hopeless romantic and a very passionate person, and i’d really love to be able to find someone that i can show some of that to, and match my freakiness, spontaneity, openness, or whatever you want to call it lol ;)

i want to be very clear that i’m not looking for a relationship right now for reasons related to why my friends situation is a bit complicated rn lol, nor do i expect exclusivity of any kind :) (you’re more than welcome to ask me about my situation — i just dont want to advertise it in a public post lol) i’m just looking for a good friend who also wouldnt mind fucking around a bit together (pun intended), especially since it’s now summer, and especially since i’m gonna be twenty soon and feel like i haven’t lived as much as i would like :,)

a bit about myself first! i’m 19, male, east asian, 5’10, and average build. i have long hair, i’m bi, and havent decided what pronouns i prefer yet lol :) nominally i’m a bio student but i’m a huge literature and classical music nerd :) i dont smoke, occasionally do edibles (but only do it in the company of people i’m close with, so it has a chance to amplify the good emotions and not just make me hungy lol), and i’m really into coffee and tea and wine as well!

a bit about who i’m looking for: just someone around my age (18-21) who i connect with (and vice versa) and who’s interested! i know it says M4F but if you’re nb and/or trans (or even a more feminine/androgynous guy) i’d love to get to know you!
