We all have exes, but she has that ex - the kind girls either found themselves crawling back to time and again or even just dreaming of. The one you still think about when you're having some alone time and the one you can't help but compare others to, even though they always fall short of him.
That's the type of ex my fiance has. She hates him as a person: he is manipulative, cruel, selfish, a bully... But she can't help herself. He was a total asshole and she knows it's for the best they're not together anymore... But she can't seem to stay away. He cheated on her multiple times, gaslit her, controlled who she saw and how she dressed. She hated him, he was totally toxic, and she was broken when they first broke up but she's better now.
But she's still addicted to him.
