I thought up a scenario today that I just can't get out of my head. It's got me more than a little distracted and definitely a bit worked up. More or less, I'm thinking of a woman who's in absolute denial of her own pregnancy. Convinced that she couldn't be. Excusing away her weight gain, justifying how different she's been feeling, and in abject denial that pregnancy is even a possibility. But it's starting to get harder to deny. Or maybe it's been hard to deny for a while now but she's just unwilling to budge. It's becoming clear to anyone paying attention, watching her slowly stretch out her tops more and more, spilling out of her bras, belly becoming taught and round instead of what you would expect from normal weight gain. It's getting more and more obvious, but she just won't admit it...
I'm looking for someone who fits that description. Have people been asking you when you're due? Have people been making comments about your glow or your body, despite you being sure that you're not pregnant? I'd love to chat!
