I'm going to be visiting Taipei for a week in the middle of November while taking a 3-week trip to Asia to celebrate my birthday. During that time, I'll be doing a lot of the typical "touristy" things, but I also enjoy the local perspective and seeking out obscure experiences. Everything is more enjoyable when you do it with somebody else, so let's go on a date when I'm visiting and see what kind of trouble we can get into ;)

I've been working in the tech industry for nearly 3 years now. During my free time, I enjoy Travel, Personal Finance, Bouldering, Hiking, Board Games, Anime, Cooking, and Mixology (I love a good cocktail).
I've also been learning Mandarin for a good while now. I definitely need more practice (because I'm not good at speaking it) and need to look up some more phrases I expect to use during my trip, but I'm looking forward to practicing in Taipei. Duolingo has been giving me this Erhua dialect so hopefully, I'll be able to kick that before or during my trip.
