Hi there!
I come from a tiny island in Asia called Singapore. My primary language is English but I can speak Mandarin Chinese and some Korean.
I have been to Amsterdam last year June and will be doing it again this year June. I will be there mainly for work but I am free to hang out after and/or during the weekends. I will be there from 7 - 17 June. I really had great fun mingling with my fellow EU colleagues and I must say that was a whole lot of fun, lots of drinking though.
I have a bad case of the Asian flush, and my RBF slowly goes away thanks to alcohol. But hey, its part of the magic in the warm sunny days in Amsterdam.
I will be down to hang out with people within the city, or you could come over to the city for a visit. I will be staying by myself so there will be another bed empty in the hotel room ;)
I am 5'10, and here is an image of me while I travelled Korea a few months back. One interesting thing I love is that while people from the Netherlands are tall, none of the locals can best my Dutch colleague who stands at 207 cm tall. Like man, that guy can hold the trophy for being the tallest guy in the company haha.
If I do happen to meet anyone from here, I will have some snacks from Asia for you. Let us grab a meal or a drink, have some chats and see if we can hit off well to continue on from there.
Whether you like casual banters about travel or some serious deep conversations about a topic, just let me know and I will do my part in being a great companion for the day.
Hopefully I will be able to meet some people outside of work and I look forward to it! Also Im not the kind of guy who is into De Wallen straat. Been there last year and my reaction was "Oh cool, thats it?" and off I went to chinatown for dinner with my colleagues haha.
