Because it is my special day I figured I would be selfish and gush about the romances that make me swoon. I created a few categories for you to more easily peruse my preferences.

This isn't a complete list, there are lots of couples I love from series I love that I didn't get to because I was focused on others, so if you think of characters that shoukd be on this list shout them out!

First up is Together Forever, characters who end up married or as life partners by the end of the series and the kind of people that are relationship goals, always fun to discuss.

Second, the Ex category, for characters who broke up: we can chat about couples we think should have stayed together or why they never would have worked.

Together Forever:

The Legend Of Zelda: Zelda and Link - These two win the award for cutest couple based on appearances alone, they always look great together in any game.

What We Do In The Shadows: Nadja and Lazzlo - I love the twist in season one where it seems like they are drifting apart only for them to be more in love than ever, plus they're absolutely hilarious!

Avatar, The Last Airbender and The Legend Of Korra: Katara and Aang - I think there shoukd have been more moments where their love was shown as mutual because it feels like a lot of Aang trying to get with her and she eventually says "yes" after a lot of "maybe"s.

Suki and Sokka - I just think they're cute together!

Korra and Asami - Amazing couple, 10/10, not much else to say except it should have been more obvious since season one.

Zhu Lee and Varick - Very, very cute romance but it could have used a little more partnership and a little less drama.

Opal and Bolin - I never really liked them as a couple, I don't know, they look good together but not that good.

The Dragon Prince: Rayla and Callum - I thought this couple was a little too obvious, or too forced at first, but I've come around and I think they rock.

Claudia and Terry - This relatoonship was really unexpected but awesome, I love how much they love each other.

She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power: Adorra and Catra - These two look so good together plus their story was excellent, solid couple.

Mermista and Seahawk - Very cute couple, love their dynamic/contrast of Mermista's pessimism and chillness with Seahawk's optimism and excitedness.

Entrapta and Hordak - I usually don't like villains in relationships with heroes but for some reason Entrapta and Hordak hit different, and hit me hard. Probably mostly because of Entrapta.

Mobile Suit Gundam, 0079, Zeta, and Iron Blooded Orphans: Mirai and Bright - A couple love, love, looove their relationship.

Frau and Hayato - These two are a fantastic couple just because the side characters finally get good romantic representation.

Beltorchika and Amuro - I was unsure what to think of her at first, but I really like her and like how quickly they get together.

Kudelia and Atra and Mikazuki - um...yes, the horny is strong, but also I think they make a nice throuple and they are basically the only trio I like.

Amida and Lafter and Azee and Naze - The horny is too strong!

Julieta and Gaelio - I was unsure where they were going as a couple at first but I like the direction it went.

Starfox: Krystal and Fox - These two are an underrated couple, I specifically like their relationship in Starfox Assault: they're clearly in love but are very careful about not saying it directly. They have multiple endings in Starfox Command, and some are better than others.

Futurama: Leela and Fry - I originally didn't like these two as a couple, but they really grew on me.

Fairy Tail: Lucy and Natsu - I wish the creator had been a little braver and instead of being so subtle and hinting at their relationship, it should have been a major focus point of the series.

Avatar: The Legend Of Korra: Asami and Mako - Mako is a fool for going after Korra it was so obvious there was nothing between them and Korra just liked his looks, Mako has little in common with either but he could have made it work with Asami.

Korra and Mako - Kinda just touched on this but I'll say it again, they have very little in common and basically no reason to work on it.

Lin and Tenzin - They look great together and they're both badass bosses, I wish it could have worked.

Mobile Suit Gundam, 0079 and Zeta: Sayla and Amuro - I really wish their relationship had been developed more because I thought they were awesome together.

Haman and Char - LOVE these two, I love the idea of them salvaging Zeon from the wreckage of the One Year War.

Disenchantment: Bean - I'm really interested to see where Bean's romances go and whether she is bi or lesbian or whatever.
