This could be a chat or more. It’s based on my own experiences. I’m generally pretty respectful of other people’s relationships, but occasionally I get the devil in me or I meet a woman who I just find very attractive or who is clearly with the wrong guy or a guy who is frankly not at her level and I just can’t help stirring things up.

In my defence it’s a) not always conscious (the instinctive reaction of a heterosexual man to an attractive woman is to check her availability) and b) really down to the woman in question whether she chooses to respond. All’s fair in love and war. If she was totally happy with her guy then perhaps she wouldn’t, but then that doesn’t account for sudden, inexplicable chemistry with a stranger.

I do love that moment when I’m flirting with a woman and I can tell by her eyes that she has suddenly forgotten that her guy is also part of the conversation or watching from across the room. What if she never remembers, at least for the rest of that night?
