I had only been working at the company for a couple of weeks but they had managed to tag me onto the team building trip last minute. I believe HR said "it couldn't be a better introduction to the team" so obviously I was dreading it. Trapped with a group of strangers I did not know in a cabin in the mountains it was not something I would be looking forward to. As well as being my first real job after leaving college I had no idea what the etiquette was on these sorts of things.
Before I left for the station there had been some reports of a front coming in, but I had been assured by my boss everything was still going ahead. So I got on the train and tried to relax.
As I got into the taxi the driver said that bad weather was on the way but he would get me as far as he could.
Pulling up the driver told me it was 2 miles up the road but he wouldn't be able to get me the last bit due to the snow, and with more forecast was going to head home for the night. Having grown up with this sort of weather I thought nothing of the walk, but 20 steps in the blizzard came in. Over the next hour with no other options I hiked to the cabin. Freezing cold and looking much worse for wear I knocked on the door. Waiting a good five minutes it eventually open with just one person standing in the door way looking back at me.....
Hey everyone, simple plot today about a new employee and a co-worker stuck in a cabin in the words. Open to discuss all the rest of the details, are we equals, are you a higher up or my boss? Love all body types and gentle as well as rough.
I usually write in short to medium paragraph lengths and ideally like quick replies.
Happy for chats or pm.
