I've been posting on here for a while, as the partners I've had fall like leaves. But there was this one partner, this one person, who stood as a pillar of perversity and passion against the ghostings and premature departures. And that person was you - the one and only person who had stayed through thick and thin, who wrote filthy and funny and sweet and sultry words that kept the spark alive, that kept our dirty penpalship going strong no matter what life threw at us.

I remember it like it was yesterday - the ongoing ennui and melancholy, of searching for a dirty penpal but never finding it, of wanting something I'll never have. Then you came along, and changed everything. You wrote things I never dreamed of, things that switched on primal urges while caressing my core with soft gentleness. You wrote things that were more erotic than Salome's dance of many veils. And in between the hot steamy sessions we had, we got to know each other. We got to know ourselves outside the roleplays, and discovered parts of us that paralleled with the characters we'd play. In this blend of fact and fiction, the imagination grow infinite, and so did our desire. It was an unacknowledged, unspoken, yet tangibly felt desire, one that we both knew but never acted upon, so we sublimated it in our roleplays instead, as an acceptable substitution.

After a year of ongoing roleplays and OOC chatting, you mentioned having to take a break to get some things in your life sorted out. I told you to take your time, that there's no rush or worries, as your priorities were always paramount, the real world was more important. I said this ironically because there was nothing more that I wanted than to write to you, as there wasn't anyone else who I felt a connection with. But I said this because I had to, I must, as I wouldn't want to intrude or impose on your schedule, I wouldn't want to be selfish with my desires.

So I waited for your return. A week became a month, a month became a year. At this point I had accepted that I was ghosted. That life had taken over and that things had taken course.

But then one day the scales fell from my jaded eyes. You had messaged me, once again, once more, apologizing for your absence. You had done a career move, and now you were a new place, a new area of your life. When I asked where you were now, the answer you gave couldn't be more stunning: you were now living in the same city as me. A meaningful coincidence? Fate? With thoughts buffeting me from all directions, I tell you that we're in the same city, and that I'd love to meet you in person. And you've agreed.

For this roleplay, a meta kind of story whereby we meet each other from the internet would be interesting as we play with fact and fiction. Two writers who share intimate close details about their private life meet in the first time, knowing all their kinks and all their secrets. What could happen? FWBs? Lovers? Open to suggestions as to how this will unravel. The possibilities are endless. Though I'm hoping for a wholesome, warm, naughty and nice story, one where the offline and online aspects of us become united between bodies and minds.

I think for this roleplay it'll be meaningful if we use self-inserts, if we describe our characters as we would describe ourselves. I'd like to explore this scenario with you, as we get to know each other in simulation, though one can only dream of having this fantasy brought out in reality. I wouldn't mind getting to know you as well, as the person behind the screen.
