My name is Will (29) and I am looking for partner(s) for a long term role play. I think it could be really fun if we’re both field leading anthropologists; however, I’ve always had a bit of an easier ride than you because… well, you’re a girl (an unfairness that’s always annoyed you, but what could you do?). Regardless, that’s life and we’ve often worked together in the field. We’ve never hooked up or anything (maybe there’s been tension though) but we’ve worked together for a while.

Amazingly, a big funding agency has given me money to lead a really new exploratory research trip to study, for the first time, a remote tribe in the Amazon. Literally nothing is known about this tribe, except rumors from other locals that they might have some strange magical traditions. Even though it’s my trip, I of course call you and we start planning the trip together. It’s remote, so we decide that we’re going all in and will travel there, with no way back for about the first 6 months.

After a long and difficult trip along the Amazon, we see a plume of smoke - we found it! We meet the people and they quickly accept us into their tribe. It also becomes apparent that the magic that was rumored might be at least somewhat true; however, it seems it’s a ritual wish afforded to each female as they become a woman, and as you’re newly joined to the tribe, they hold the ceremony in your honour. Naturally, you wish you could be treated equal to a man, and poof we immediately start swapping genders or bodies.

How would we figure out how to live as the opposite gender, how would our new bodies affect how we go through life, and do we notice that the world treats us differently to what it used to? I’d love to explore these kinds of things, as well as whatever you want too!
