Post Body

Ironic, that only a few generations ago, the taller races of the land considered the small ones to be weak. Elves, humans, half-orcs, tieflings, dragonborn ... all of them scoffed and laughed at the the halflings, the smaller dwarves, and the gnomes. No doubt were the smaller races just as keen and valuable as adventurers, but theirs was usually the way of cunning or magic; wily halfling thieves who could melt into shadow but have to use their acrobatic skills for anything above the lower shelves, gnomish wizards who could twist the fabric of the universe to their whim but stood no chance arm-wrestling even the barmaids at the local tavern. There was peace, but always the subtle mocking tone of derision, the attitude that even if they were capable within an adventuring party, they wouldn't stand much chance on their own, or produce the heroes that legend truly remembered. Every boy from the capital to the furthest frontier knew the tales of Svenna the Red, human barbarian who roamed the wilds and drove back the orcish hordes. Only the most devout clerics had even heard of Balinn Stormfeather, the halfling cleric who was tasked with keeping the reckless heroine from taking one too many spears to the spleen.

The revolt was swift, decisive, and crushing. The artisanship of the dwarves, the occasionally mad inventiveness of the gnomes, and the eternal bravery of the halflings combined for an awesome, unstoppable force which swept over the kingdom, for humanity had forgotten one detail. Even though they were the most daring and the most prominent race, only the elves had a lifespan which could keep pace with their opponent. Centuries of planning was easily handled by only a few individuals; it wasn't a lifetime's monumental task. It was an extended project, like writing only one book in a series that could be continued or paused as needed.

Even more time has passed, and even the oldest of the elves can barely remember the time before. Now, servitude was ingrained into the life of the not-so-small races, who were now almost on the same level of animals in the new order. Gnomish lords held jousting matches upon the backs of hardened half-orc steeds. A family of halflings might keep a pair of humans as pets, for short-loved companionship for the clan. A dwarven prospector on the kingdom's frontier might have a team of elves, using their keen senses on the hunt. The combinations were endless, as was the spectrum of cruelty, companionship, or occasionally even love (or shameless lust) shared between the servant and the master.

Who are you, and what is your story?

Hopefully the above prompt gives a good idea of what I'm trying to hit here, but in a nutshell; small doms, big subs. I have a kinklist here, but some themes I'm really trying to explore with this prompt are size differences, reversed role expectations, petplay, and thought-lines that in our IRL world would be akin to bestiality (a halfling ranger might be labeled a pariah for treating their human servant as more than just a dumb animal). I'm open to just about any of the D&D player races for either of the characters, but if you have other suggestions, feel free to make them. I'm also comfortable playing either side of the relationship; whether you want to play the master/mistress or their pet is up to you.

For those of you interested in me, I'm 29m, but I feel comfortable playing any mix of genders, though I'm not a fan of futa characters, sorry.

Please send DMs, Reddit chat and I aren't well acquainted. I'm travelling a fair bit today, so I may be slow in replying, but this prompt will be considered open for quite a while.
