That question undoubtedly skirted across the minds of the people in the room as you entered with him. There were rumors about you since you first caught the attention of these base creatures, murmurs and gossip always sneaking between ears and lips whenever you were among them. They could be his friends, his family, or strangers at some social event, all of them would have that same question slithering quietly amongst them, likely hiding in their wine glasses as they take noticeably longer sips.

Did you care? Not particularly. You were simply here because he wanted to be here, and you would hardly go anywhere without him, nor would you leave him in the care of these witless sheep. They’d damage him with their senseless interests and idiotic flights of fancy. So you remained his shadow, though a shadow dressed exclusively for his pleasure. You couldn’t tell him no. Not as if you’d wish to. It was internally amusing watching those around you gawk and watch you move like some skimpy she-devil. You knew he liked it, the diabolical sway of your body inviting so many stares, but only he had the right to touch.

Your presence subtly dominated the room, an unnatural aura about you that teased the minds of the occupants. There was just something about you that didn’t feel right, but none could make a guess. You could kill each and every one of them if he asked, but you doubted it’d come to that (even if you wished it would. These animals are disgusting). He was too angelic, or he simply enjoyed the show more. The premise: You are a dark creature of some sort, maybe an ancient goddess, a vampire lady, demon, or perhaps even a Fae queen. Something of great power and sinister enough to provoke unrest. The twist is that a mortal, through bargain or other means, owns you and has turned you into their devoted supernatural servant. You likely can’t help but find that an exquisite change of pace. You’re unsettling in some way yet unbearably sexy to those around you. This can take place in a dark fantasy or even a modern day setting with a supernatural twist. I am looking a bit of enthusiasm for this, which means at least semi-literate smut and a story occupied by intrigue and a healthy dosage of depravity.

As for the mortal in question, I have a few ideas myself but you’re welcome to tweak them/submit your own. Below will be a list of archetypes I’m thinking of using.

1. The Occultist: He was not a master of magic, but he managed to overpower you nonetheless. Obsessed with science and ritual, his power lies in checking the stars and performing during the right season and the right hour. How this strictly dressed, skinny and unkempt dabbler found a lover as grandiose as you is anyone’s guess.

2. The Naive Acolyte: One wrong move started it all, a complete accident. He read something he shouldn’t have or he got lost somewhere. He got too curious. Now you won’t leave him alone. Still, he had enough skill to teach you some manners after you prodded him. You corrupted him as much as he corrupted you, dragging him from a path of righteousness in service to his monster-fearing church.

3. The Impoverished Prince: Dethroned and robbed of everything he ever had, impulse drove him into the world’s more ominous circles. Rumors spread of you and him soon, the rake and his beautiful, exotic mistress. Lording over things was simple enough for him, his arrogance matching your own. Nightly challenges fueled by passion became commonplace, but somehow he’d always win, as determined to make you as a slave as he was to reclaim his title.

4. The Reincarnation: He was your champion once upon a time, and maybe even helped save you from losing your divinity. Then he died, as all mortals do, leaving you without him for hundreds of years. It all passed by until suddenly, a familiar spark returned to the world. Your dark heart skipped a beat and you hunted for him, intent on finding and securing his soul this time. Nothing would stop you.
