One of the things at the center of roleplays for me is power dynamics. I love playing characters who find themselves opposite people who have some form of power over them. In the real world, that can very quickly be sketchy if not always, but in roleplay I find the idea intoxicating. And so that is exactly what I’d like to explore here today, with three options presented but definitely up for other ideas if you might prefer.

Before we get into that, some basic information. I’m open to playing cis or trans women roles and open to my partners being either as well. I only play submissive roles. I only use Reddit DMs to roleplay and am not interested in taking things to another format. With all of that out of the way, let’s get into it:

The cop and the activist: My character is an activist in her twenties who can’t stand the police. From systemic violence to the way they treat her and her protests, she’s had nothing but bad impressions of the group that she is firm in her convictions are accurate to the whole. So why then does she get flustered by the cute police officer? Your character knows exactly who she is, having seen her at her protests many times, holding all kinds of anti-police signs. Is that why she approached her? Did she want to convince her that she was wrong? Or did she want to put her in her place? Maybe they get into an argument or maybe it’s just flirting, but either way my character’s going to find out she loves the uniform.

This could be a one time moment of passion or maybe it develops into something more. My character becoming a bit addicted to the power dynamic, sleeping with the so-called enemy. I think this prompt would mix well with political play and raceplay angles if you happen to be interested in those as well, bringing some of the potentially background elements to the forefront in and out of the bedroom (or wherever they might get up to some fun).

The CEO and the intern: The classic scenario. My character is fresh out of college, wet behind the ears and lacking experience in the workplace. Joining the labour market was not something she had ever been anticipating. No, she hated the whole situation. Hated knowing her life was going to be spent toiling away to make money for someone far richer than she would ever be. But then she meets your character. The company CEO, with whom sparks begin to immediately fly. What started as a brief workplace interaction quickly develops into something more passionate and meaningful for the both of them. The intern soon enough is quitting her job at the company so she can be the CEO’s plaything full time - her sugar baby. Taken to see the world, beautiful vistas where the CEO gets to use her as she pleases. That doesn’t mean it’s purely a sexual relationship, they do both care for the other, but they also both enjoy what they have. Both enjoy being a toy for a rich powerful woman and having a cute college girl as your personal pet.

The celebrity and the production assistant: A production assistant spends a lot of their time running back and forth across set to cater to the whims of those at the top, a strong contrast to the celebrity the set revolves around. My character got a job on this production when she saw it posted due to one of the actresses in it. Though it wasn’t like a celebrity would look at her, she could at least say she worked on a movie with her celebrity crush in it. However, one day, on a run to get a drink for the director - she finds herself quite literally colliding with her crush. Despite her panic and embarrassment for the incident, she’s not the only one who sees something she likes. Depending on your preference, the celebrity might be genuinely interested. Maybe there’s a romantic connection that gives them both what they’re looking for. Or maybe the celebrity sees a pretty thing who will do anything for her and decides to exploit her position of power over her. Either way, they find themselves becoming entangled - the production assistant maybe becoming her personal assistant instead to keep her by her side as she travels for filming, interviews, and more.

I’ll include a rather lengthy list of celebrities at the bottom so it can be skipped over if it’s not of interest to some people, but beyond the use of a celebrity for the last scene in particular - I am very fond of using them as faceclaims. At least for my character, though if you’re up for it with yours too then that would be amazing.
