The same song and dance, staring up at the night sky with a small lump in their throat, wishing and hoping to cure that creeping loneliness that seemed to prey on their mind from time to time. The vampire had driven out, far away from the city to a national forest that was a couple of hours away. A retreat for the weekend, to escape for a bit and hide away in their little cabin.

Yet here they were, outside in the summertime fighting the urge to let out even a single tear. The vampire had been alive for so long that at some point they had stopped counting their birthday. All that was left on those days was an empty silence that pounded at the vampire's cold heart. and yet, they longed for even just one day to have someone say something.

Their blood had been mixed, or cursed if the stories are to be believed. Their features were a mixture of both, but if someone looked closely enough they could see the slight curves from the binding on their chest, or the way their hips seemed to be a little wider than their shoulders. Despite the slender frame their cursed blood gave them unparalleled strength.

The vampire hugged their knees closer to their chest, sitting on the porch of their rented cabin and looking at the stars, scanning for some kind of answer to their lonely and forced long life. The warm summer air tickled their nose, hinting at a familiar scent. The vampire couldn't help but the grip the sleeve of their charcoal hoodie. They had already fed, and they tried not to be greedy.

It was a strange smell, and they'd be a fool to follow it. And yet they did, locking their door to their little cabin. Trudging through the man made path in their hiking boots, and shining a flashlight that was pulled out of their grey cargo pants; they had perfected the art of acting human. If a human looked closely enough they could see the red specks in their grey-blue eyes, the faint scar that came down her cheek, and the silver-almost-white hair that was braided. They looked like a regular human with noticeable brown skin against the silvery hair, who just happens to hike late at night to keep from feeling their feelings.

A twig snapped under their weight.

"Shit... Alva you idiot..." they muttered to themselves.

Whatever was bleeding out there would be alerted, so there went the element of surprised. What if it was a creature that was out hunting? Maybe curiosity would finally get Alva into a little scrap that they can't get out of.

Or it could just be one of their best nights in a lifetime.

** what am I looking for?**
I'm looking for someone to play the opposite to Alva the vampire, basically the love interest/one night stand. Just a partner, it can be either a fast or slow burn. I am a sucker for world building and stuff, and character descriptions. I'm a big fan of werewolves/wolfmen and demon ladies.

Please note that Alva is non-binary, ie they consider themselves to be, they just have their female parts still. They/them, she her is fine. I'll explain eventually in the rp why that is, it's just part of them as a character.
