Every story has to begin somewhere, and for the purposes of this one, it starts here when I went to a strange basement bookstore, Caveat Emptor, that I just happened to be passing. I didn't remember it being there last week when I was exploring downtown, but being new to the area, perhaps I simply overlooked it.
I was definitely not disappointed after going inside. The place was wall to wall books on just about every topic imaginable. But I did find myself gravitating towards the comics section. I picked out a few graphic novels and headed home to read my haul. Pulling a book at random out of the bag, I sat myself down on the couch and read the first few pages of "Wonder Woman: Year One" from DC.
After those few pages, I realized I was no longer on my couch and no longer reading. I was walking arm in arm with the beautiful woman introduced a few panels ago as she went on about something that was just now registering in my mind. "...leave Themyscira, you sacrifice your place in Paradise and everything that comes with it. You would leave your sisters forever." She stopped, and I, dumbfounded at how I came to be in my current position did as well. She pulled me into a familiar kiss, first on the lips, then moved to the point where my jaw met my neck. I involuntarily shuddered as I felt her free hand run down my spine, but I could only stand there frozen in confusion. "And that would break my heart." I could feel heat rising to my cheeks. It was so romantic for someone that I didn't really know.
I did my best not to look embarrassed as strange sensations settle in my lower abdomen.
The blonde woman gave me a shy smile and kissed my hand. "Goodnight, Princess." She turned and walked towards some braziers. I looked around, determined what must be the palace by the fact it stood higher than the other buildings, and started walking in that direction.

For this prompt, I was thinking about getting a cursed book and getting sucked into the pages. I'm not married to the idea of playing Diana/WW. In fact, it might be more fun to do a hero/ine that I'm not as familiar with like Jessica Jones, Barbara Gordon, Harley Quinn, Gwen Stacy, or someone similar.
