My arrival at Castle Falxis was not without fanfare as much as I would have preferred that be the case. Commoners crowded the streets to get a look at us, the band of mercenaries entrusted with defending an entire castle and the surrounding homestead from would-be invaders for the King. To the lot of them it's frankly unthinkable, scowling up at us as we sit on horseback, muttering the name 'Wolvesbane' under their breath. It's not a moniker I chose, having felled Arctorus in the North during my final campaign for King Ed, the same campaign which led me to leave the army in the first place-- only to form this band several months after.

Seems those who had served me all got the same idea and were insistent on no one else being fit to lead them. I can't say I agree but I can hardly imagine taking up any other profession. Thus, the Black Dogs.

"Easy Hal." I reassure the man behind me, his nerves at the faces staring back at him just about leading his horse to run mine over. Each face, varied as they are, carries the same fear. Humans, half-elves, orcs, even some more exotic, all seem wary of Ed's latest war. Even though the fighting is isolated to the East and Falxis lies West even of Erydorn, putting it nearest our allies across our western border, they are reluctant to shake the sense that they are not safe.

Perhaps they are wise to, but they have to accept me and the two dozen men with me living among them so long as this drags on.

The rest of our entrance is uneventful, the road is cleared by the small cohort of local guards and officers leaving us to be shown within the castle walls. My subordinates are brought to a barracks, higher ranks to their own rooms within the castle. The aging steward, Abel, brings me to the bedroom which has sat empty since the Lord was beheaded to bring this region under the King's control-- he assures me it's been thoroughly cleared by the servant girls.

Before retiring he asks if I'd like a girl sent to me, for now I refuse but while I remove the plate mail adorning my garments I wonder if ought to reconsider. My own home lies far away to the South, the comfort I had known a memory. Wed though I am I know she'd understand, she has before.

With a thud I finally set my greatsword to the ground, perched against the large bed frame in this room. A sigh escapes my lips and through my trim beard, eyeing myself in the wall-height mirror across from the bed, curious what the town of Falxis has in store during my tenure.

Hello Hello! For now, a terribly vague setup primarily focused on giving us a little playground to occupy. First thing's first, a bit more about Godwin which an out-of-character approach gives me the opportunity to detail without regard for interrupting that little narrative.

He's a man in his early 40s, standing a little over 6'3" with a powerful, wide frame mired by a bit of a gut from nights (and sometimes days) full of ale. His hair is long and charcoal colored, bits of gray peeking through, possessing a short-cropped beard and deep brown eyes. He has a reassuring smile and a booming laugh, his prowess on the battlefield second to none in his mercenary group and the sole reason he's survived in this profession for so long.

Who might you be? Well, that's up for a bit of debate. A local who encounters him on his rounds, one of the aforementioned pleasure girls, a servant in the castle, a female member of his band? Just about anything goes as I'm pansexual and imagine Godwin to be similarly inclined, though I generally have conceptualized this roleplay with women in mind. I've alluded to the presence of all manner of fantasy races so I encourage you to be creative with whatever character you concoct.

While I am of course here for a good bit of smut I would also enjoy some of this political intrigue to bleed through and occasionally take center stage. Perhaps peace remains throughout our little jaunt, perhaps Flaxis is less safe than we've been led to believe.

I'll also note that I'm open to playing and willing to play multiple characters and I can detail a few loose concepts here. Tarkus, an excitable young man of twenty-four who thinks there nothing more noble than joining this guild to defend his homeland, still unwed and the sort to eagerly engage in sparring matches with his brethren to prove his merit. Another is Mearth, a widower of thirty-three who is gruff and quiet, keeping to himself and sharpening his blades, from time to time stepping up to one of the working girls and tapping their rear forcefully to urge them into his quarters for relief.

While you certainly need not play multiple characters (and Godwin will be my 'primary' character regardless), it's certainly a plus to do so.

As far as kinks are concerned... I've plenty! You can find a more exhaustive list in my profile, though for this RP I can safely state the ebb and flow of rough sex and after care will likely take center stage a lot of the time. I also have a soft spot for the element of smaller subs caring for larger doms, especially in fantasy scenes such as this, so that's something I'd like to work in. I'd very much like to discuss some of your favorite kinks and what you'd like to work in, though.
