I’m absolutely in love with the idea of pregnancy and space/sci-fi elements mixed together.
One particular idea I had in mind revolves around an alien style plot but instead of face huggers they’re navel huggers (belly button huggers) and they latch on and inject eggs into a hosts womb via the belly belly button. I had pictured a setting of a rural town where two kids are back from college and the entire town is attacked and the survivors (including those impregnated) have to try and make it to a local hospital for an evacuation.
I watch intently as your lips pucker up and you lean in shyly giving my a gentle kiss on the cheek, suddenly there’s a crash and a sound of breaking glass and there in the doorway to the kitchen appears a muted green creature with long tentacles like arms and something that appears to be a stinger attached to what I assume is it’s mouth. “Oh god what is that” I say screaming as I scramble backwards trying to put as much distance between the creature and myself as possible, when it suddenly lunges across the distance and bowls me to the ground it’s long tentacles wrapping around my mid section before I feel a sudden and painful stinging sensation right in the centre of my stomach.
