Like seemingly every other queer woman I know, I spend too much time with fictional couples. Or, from a different point of view, the exact right amount of time. But for this month, I’d love to explore some of that with someone else. I’m looking for canon x canon RPs, and to play the submissive partner. For this, I’m going to focus on one prompt in a couple fandoms, but I’m open to many, many other options for each of them. But there’s only so much I can write.

Kate Bishop x Yelena Belova (Marvel)

In the months following their meeting at Christmas, Kate’s been establishing herself as the new Hawkeye, taking down crime in New York. Her pursuit of a weapons dealer she assumes to be a local issue turns out to be much bigger than she expected - big enough to attract the attention of a particular spy. When they encounter each other again, feelings she had felt during their previous meeting come back to the surface. Now, things weren't hampered by Yelena's attempts to kill Clint, meaning they're able to explore without that hanging over them. Arms dealings are a lot less dangerous than figuring out what these feelings between them are going to be. Well, maybe not, but that’s where the focus is going to be.

Ellie x Dina (The Last of Us)

Sometimes it takes losing everything to make you realize what you had. Pursuing Abby to Santa Monica, Ellie returns to find Dina gone. Their farmhouse cleared out. The only person who made her feel safe now was gone and she has never felt quite so alone. But instead of moping, she travels to Jackson to find Dina. When she gets there, things are tense and distant - but there's a chance to fix things. And that's all she needs, devoting her time to trying to make things right by Dina. Despite anything that went wrong, Dina can't help but let her patch things up. She missed her too.

Korra x Asami (The Legend of Korra)

Being a CEO is no easy task. Asami’s days are spent in a high-stress environment, having to manage deals and navigate corporate culture. But when she gets home, everything changes. When she gets home, she doesn’t have to think so much. Instead, all she has to do is obey. Korra’s more than happy to take control of her girlfriend and help her relieve some stress. Tonight, after a nightmare of a time, Asami comes home craving the gentle control of her girlfriend.

Wonder Woman x Anyone (DC)

Even superheroes need a vacation. Scratch that, especially superheroes need a vacation. But while you could go to Italy or Japan or Hawaii, the DC Universe offers a unique options: Themyscira. Wonder Woman’s more than happy to lead her fellow teammates to the island to recollect themselves and recover from their day-to-day heroics. Diana accompanied, guiding the newcomer through her home and sharing it with her. And while they spend all this time together, a little more seems to be beneath the the surface, waiting to come out. This could be explored with a multitude of DC girls, I think there's a lot of possibly fun combinations like pairing her with Supergirl, Batwoman, Dreamer, Stargirl, and many others.

Elsa x Honeymaren (Disney)

Elsa had chosen to stay up north, where for the first time she truly felt free to be her. She wasn’t forced to be something she wasn’t anymore. But her time up there isn’t alone, spending quite a bit of time with the Northuldran people - but there’s one that catches her eye most of all. Honeymaren and her had hit it off almost instantly when she had first traveled her, and that had only grown - but the romantic/sexual tension between them had yet to be cut by either woman. I could see maybe with this one, Elsa's inexperience with romance getting the better of her or Honeymaren a little intimidated by her crush being such a powerful force. The question is, who finally breaks it?

Qi’ra x Leia (Star Wars)

Qi’ra had worked her way up until she now controlled the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate in the wake of Maul’s death. This new position meant she was a target both for assassinations and would-be friends alike. This family wanted an alliance, this group wanted to be allowed to transport through Crimson Dawn space, there was always something. But the one that interested her today came in the form of a former senator, looking to gain passage for rebel ships. A former senator now working with her old flame.

As mentioned, I’m also definitely up for options not mentioned here. Characters, scenarios, fandoms, but I only can write so many prompts and so tried to focus on one for a couple of favourites.
