For many years hades was seen as this masculine symbol of justice, judgement, death, riches etc. Some feared him, some respected him, but regardless of how you felt about him you didn’t fuck with him. Except, it wasn’t him it was a her. Hades had masterminded an entire facade, the masculinity, the anonymity, the shadowy vibe none of it was real. No one would take her seriously if they knew she was a woman, you know sexism and all. How are you supposed to be afraid of death when the person taking care of your soul in the afterworld is a 4’11 girl with flaming blue hair. Behind the mask was a simply a girl who was the final judge of character. She was loving, but cold. Harsh, but fair, feminine, but masculine. Everything about hades was a complete and total paradox, and she loved every single second of it. The most curious thing about hades was that no one had ever actually seen here. Hence why no one was confident that she was a woman.
This is an idea I have based on the book Neon Gods by Kaytee Roberts. It’s a bit tweaked for sure, but I find this plot so intriguing! Your character can be another god/goddess, a human or really any other type of character. I’m open minded. I’d love for this to turn into a slow burn romance, nsfw open. Open to other ideas or tweaking as well. Looking forward to chatting with you!
