There used to be an issue in our country with a below replacement birth rate. This was causing all sorts of economic and societal issues. Decades ago out of desperation an authoritarian solution was devised. An algorithm would randomly pair up adults that where close in age and with some similarities and require them to get married. Perhaps one of us filled out the mandated form incorrectly and misspelled our last name, or there was a bug in the software. But now we are a newly wed couple living together in a house. The pairing is final with no opportunity for reversal. With strict laws put in place to prevent people from disobeying this solution, it's up to us to make the best of it. We weren't happy with it initially. In fact we where both absolutely disgusted by our circumstances. But maybe over time we'll warm up and grow closer in a way we where never supposed to. Alternatively we could just try to manage our degust with this when the required time for us to have children comes, or maybe one of us or both winds up into it. Shoot me a message and let's talk about how we would like this to play out. :)
