There's nothing quite like the bar at a really fancy hotel. The one Hotel Saffron was no exception. It was classically decorated: dark wood, secluded booths, and hundreds of liquor bottles displayed on a ceiling-high shelf surrounded by the bar. Even when the hotel was slow, the bar was bustling. You could meet any kind of person if you parked yourself at one of the high tops at watched the city go by.
It was Saturday night, and things were busier than they'd been in weeks. The convention center was close, so their were plenty of business types. And the spa was offering its full services again, which meant plenty of girls trips and bachelorette parties too. Throw in normal tourists, and every table had been taken since 4:30.
So who will meet at the tonight? Will it be a wealthy older businessman who finally makes his move on the cute new secretary? Or a professional woman who hits it off with two college athletes who swear they've never been in a hotel this nice before? What about newlyweds who are having a quiet drink together after the crazy, exhausting day of their ceremony? I bet if the bartender were to check out the constantly single friend at a bachelorette party, she might want to know when his shift ended...
I'm open to lots of pairings and taking advantage of the anonymity of staying at a hotel. I want to plan our characters and how they came to be in this bar, and then all the things they'll get up to after they've tipped and signed their receipts. So let's talk over who we want to play, and what turns us on most about a fancy hotel bar. I'm excited to hear from you!
