It's not much of an advertisement: “Beginning photographer in search of subjects. Please call XXX-XXX-XXXX. Any and all welcome.” But it's a start. I have no expectations. I could get nothing from the ad, or numerous opportunities. But without that first step, I will get nothing, just like the several months of depending on word-of-mouth. My friends have been supportive, but none have gotten me anywhere. Maybe they know the secret reason I'm getting into photography?

I've always enjoyed taking pictures. Then as digital photography emerged I saved up for a procession of gradually improving electronic cameras and hard drives. But I never did anything professionally, or even on an amateur basis. Few other people ever saw what I captured. Life gradually intruded, but three months ago inspiration thrust back into my life.

After breaking up with my pretty yet prudish girlfriend I ended up looking at a lot of porn online. Yet the pictures and videos were unsatisfying. I wanted the personal connection I had with my ex, but without the drama. I found Reddit, saw the pictures women posted of themselves. Knowing that they were real people made the images better, but still not enough. I decided I wanted to be the one taking the pictures. I wanted to look at naked women I'd seen in person, watched undress, and played with themselves in front of me.

My ambition gripped me to the point that I ordered a very expensive DSLR camera. I decided to turn my hobby into something more. I started telling my friends about my photography, asking them to refer people to me, suggest places to take photos. I got ideas for locations, scenery, unusual flowers, but no people. Especially no women. After several weeks of frustration, I placed the ad. I don't expect to get a sexy shoot immediately, but who knows who'll call me.
