The medical study seemed pretty normal, they wanted you to fill out a survey and run some tests, and the pay was good, like really good. Complete survey section 2 for an additional $200 or $300 total. Now things start getting a little more personal. The words “All questions must be completed in order to receive payment.” Are emphasized in italics.

Section 3 is worth double, $200 additional for $500 total. It gets into very specific sexual questions and ends with the following: “Rank the other people in the room in based on who you would most like to have sex with. 1 being not at all, and 10 being absolutely.”

Suddenly the name tags at the seats labeling each person with a letter A-J make more sense. It’s clear when people reach the end of their survey as they start to nervously glance around as they make their choices.

For the testing phase of this trial, you will be asked to have sex with and/or masturbate in front of other participants under medical observation. Participants will be eligible to receive up to $100,000.
