I arrive at her apartment a few minutes early. I check my watch. The place looks empty. And I sigh checking my watch. Don’t tell me she had cancelled again. Suddenly I feel my phone vibrate. A text message on my phone. I pull it out to see the following:

I grumble something to myself. This wasn’t the first time Tori had backed out of a date. She’d done it two weeks ago when she’d gone to “support” her friend at the club. She’d needed it, after all she had just broken up with her boyfriend. But here I was with needs.

“Hey there,” I say smiling and greeting you as I search for her key. You must have known what had happened. It wasn’t the first time.

But of course what I didn’t know was that you and Tori had gotten into an argument the night before. And you were looking for revenge.
