Taking The Job Seriously

As a graduate of Freya's Academy, at the top of my class in the art of healing magicks no less, I take my responsibilities very seriously. What is are those responsibilities? Well, a healer-for-hire of course. Keeping those entrusted to me from getting too worse for wear. Accompanying bands of adventurers into long-forgotten keeps, joining smaller entourages or single individuals traveling and in need of a healer on hand for the insurance of their well-being, even merely visiting infirmeries or making house-calls-- whatever the need is I feel compelled to oblige. I have even been known to partake in... other services. Health is all encompassing after all, it's not as if making use of my body in order to help those I've sworn my service to a few dozen times or so means anything. I'm merely doing my duty, right?

Ah, but I'd better back up. Introductions are in order, I believe.

I'm Alfie Eluviar, a wood elf who's long since left home in search of something a bit more advenuturous and I'd say I've found it. With my staff in hand I busy myself tending to others, supporting them to be able to take on the foes they set themselves against. Whoever they may be, I feel honor bound to help however I can.

The towering, brutish berserker who speaks seldom a word and prefers to swing his sword, the solemn, cold-hearted necromancer clearly with a history she'd rather not revisit, the cheery and charming paladin eager to offer his sword and shield to those in need, the chiding rogue ever poking fun at me when not wielding blades, the illustrious, holier-than-thou sorceress who seems a bit indignant at my using magic upon her, and occasionally other coy healers such as myself.

Oh and, er, that of course applies to the other services I mentioned as well. Whatever the party needs from me, I'll oblige, even if it might be reluctantly so. There was even one time in Galeon where occupying a gaggle of goblin cocks seemed the only way to free the others for a hasty escape...

Who Are You?

Let's talk about you before getting to kinks and the other sexy bits. This is written to be rather broad and to deliberately leave things open for you to conjure up a character you think would make a good match. Or, for the bold and ambitious, a series of characters! GMs welcome as well! (Note: This is really not at all required, I merely wish to toss it out there. I shan't ignore you merely because you wanted to play a single character.)

In the spirit of general fantasy fun I've gone ahead and left a few vague character suggestions sprinkled in bold, but nothing so boilerplate is required. All I ask is that you come with a concrete idea, a true character with feelings and quirks (as well as kinks they're canonically into) and so forth. Someone that the capable, coy-yet-experienced Alfie can bounce off of for our mutual enjoyment. Or bounce on. Ahem. All sorts of fantasy races are up for your choosing, whether they be of the standard DnD sort or from a particular favorite of yours. On that note, please put your favorite in your message subject line so I can gauge who's paid close attention!

The Sexy Bits

I'm pansexual and a switch and see Alfie as being much the same, though generally leaning towards the submissive side as the 'healslut' title implies.

One ground rule before we continue, slurs are thoroughly off the table. Don't even start down that path because to have them uttered in this context, even innocuously asking questions, makes me wade through discomfort to even muster a reply. The exception here is fictional discrimination. Should you play a non-elf, disparaging elves as a whole is fine by me. Alfie may tease their own non-elf partners but it will never err towards being mean-spirited. You may, though!

Where does story fit into all this?

I’d say I’m most probably looking for 60/40 smut/story up to 80/20, depending on the particular scene we discuss. Wanton fucking has its place, as does a slow-burn with sex only sprinkled it. We can address this as we discuss what struck your fancy about this RP and figure out what works best for us. The broader story will likely be heavily informed by your character so it’s hard to describe just what the long-term agenda might look like but at the very least I imagine we can involve my profession and general fantasy antics. Or, we could take a more political bent with fantasy as a backdrop. The possibilities are endless!

As a vague sense of character direction, I would like Alfie to develop from something of a closeted healslut to someone more embracing of their own sexuality and not so ashamed to admit his interest in those aforementioned goblin cocks.

Regardless, I would like a a decent bit of world- building at play in the background. That’s not to say we necessarily need to discuss it in detail beforehand but I appreciate very much when smaller things reinforce that we’re in a fantasy world, not a current-day hotel with some rustic wallpaper. Considerations to heating and plumbing (even if 'magic' is a lovely catch all fore amenities I appreciate it being stated), races of all kinds populating the streets, nations in conflict in the background, adventurers' guilds, schools of magic, and so on. Fantasy worlds are vast places so I don’t think consistently sprinkling in little ideas will ultimately step on any toes. Bigger ideas tossed in, whole nations or species, may want to be kept track of but I doubt we'll accidentally over-populate the world. Should anything be iffy though you’re always encouraged to ask OOC in the midst of the RP, or to request things be tweaked a bit should an idea catch you off guard.
