Hey there! I hope you’re doing well if you’re reading this! So I don’t have a working prompt ready to go for this one, but I would absolutely love to explore this with someone and really flesh it out and build this world together.

So the basic idea for this, as suggested by the title, is that it’s a completely matriarchal utopian world. Now how this takes shape can alter and change depending on our different viewpoints and ideas, but I love the idea that sex is completely normalised and there is no taboo whatsoever regarding anything sexual. It’s normal to watch porn out in the open, it’s normal to post porn on your social media, and the world is basically fuelled by it.

Now despite this as the overall social rule, I love the idea that women are on top, and are unrelenting about it. We’ve lived through centuries of a patriarchal world in real life, however in this world the matriarchy is all there is and all there ever will be.

The idea that sex and porn is normalised is so exciting to me cause it’s kinda the opposite of what we have now. In this new world, it would be stranger to find out a woman doesn’t have her own OnlyFans or porn page, or post porn on her chosen social media. And it would be stranger to find a man that doesn’t view it and be controlled by it, than finding someone that ignores it.

Now this could be a conscious effort by the government to maintain compliance of the male proportion of the population; men are basically addicted to these women’s social media and porn pages and it drives them into submission. They go head over heels for all of the women in their life, their family members, their coworkers, their bosses, their social authority figures (police officers, members of the church), absolutely everyone. They all upload and post flirty, revealing and outright pornographic content daily to keep the men of the world almost hypnotised and controlled into submission.

Each woman that posts something sexual and sees the flurry of interaction through their likes, upvotes and comments rising, just gets more and more motivated by it all.

Now it may seem pretty un-matriarchal to have a world where all women are sex objects, but in this world they’re so much more than that. They have real control over the men of the world. I quite like the idea of them having some sort of binding law that allows them to quarantine or imprison a man, and perhaps subject them to pornographic conditioning or something of the sort, if they’ve broken a law or acted out of turn. I feel like it would fit well if maybe the laws that ran this world were harsher in terms of social behaviour.

Anyway I’m just going on and on now! I’d love to explore how this plays out and talk about some of the scenarios this would create. And I’d love to hear your ideas on this too! Would you change anything or maybe add anything to this at all? What are your thoughts on a matriarchal world that dominates the men in society due to their susceptibility to viewing and becoming engrossed and addicted with sex and porn?
