Amel's Appetite

When you've access to the finer things how can you possibly turn them down?

And sure, I do mean the wine and other liquors, the galleries, balls, the clothes, the estate I call home and the apartment tucked away in a well-managed section of the city, but more than anything I mean the sex.

It's undeniable that Viera men are rather... popular. I've often asked what it is that makes it so but have received all sorts of answers. For some it's the softness of our features or of some of our temperaments (a stereotype I do generally fit into, or at least that I enjoy indulging...), others merely possess a fixation on the long ears atop our heads, their favorite moment of the tryst to run their fingers along them, and others still are swept up in the tales of our origins in the forests, how us males were the subservient sort in such a setting, making partners eager to replay such circumstances. Regardless, I embrace this interest wholeheartedly, and am overeager to sample every variety these attractions and the sex itself comes in.

I do enjoy being lusted after, after all. I can hardly blame them, who could resist a modestly-statured, lithe-built Viera with milk white skin and hair and fur to match. Not to mention the libido of my kind is considered rather unparalleled. How could anyone complain at my behavior when I surely need an outlet of some kind?

By now you're sure I'm quite the absentee member of the court, hm? My parents would agree, as would many of the others at court. All self-serious gazes and droning on about tax policy-- how very dull. My solemn duty? What has to be solemn about it?

I suppose by now an introduction is in order. Amyr Paharo, Duke of my little corner of the world (which we can discuss out of character). Most of my wealth goes to fulfilling my sexual appetites, albeit indirectly. Maintaining my estate and quaint apartment are, to my mind, essential to having would-be partners made comfortable, as is all manner of sexual tool and outfit which I consider equally important. And of course the parties and so forth, excellent places to get bedded again. I do aim to please and I've heard seldom a complaint from anyone so lucky as to share my company.

Antithetical to my critics' (and family's) beliefs, I do take my position rather seriously. Just not in the way they'd hope, I don't carry around my charge over this modest city as a ball and chain to weigh me down, wrinkle my skin and develop premature bags under my eyes. I familiarize myself with my people in my own ways. I'll venture to the tavern like any other, and end up in bed with a delightful stranger as any other as well. Plenty of nights and morning-afters are spent frequenting the local brothel-- of which I'm a notable backer, and I'll even occasionally arrange to be put on their menu instead. Besides, it's not as if I'm one for lording my power over people to make them do my bidding. Were I to choose I'd easily say I prefer being the one made to feel powerless.

I enjoy variety, though I've considered as of late settling upon a pool of regulars instead. Perhaps we'll meet?

I'm back! And with a vague FFXIV prompt. This would (likely) take place far from the affairs of the WoL and company, or perhaps in a different era or world altogether where we just so happen to find the familiar Viera. I'm rather flexible on the setting so long as I get to play a sub-leaning, sex-happy bunny boy! And of course, a nobleman eager to put that wealth to work in the pursuit of pleasure.

Who Are You?

Let's talk about you before getting to kinks and the other sexy bits. This is written to be rather broad and to deliberately leave things open for you to conjure up a character you think would make a good match for Amel. Or, for the bold and ambitious, a series of characters! GMs welcome as well! (Note: This is really not at all required, I merely wish to toss it out there. I shan't ignore you merely because you wanted to play a single character.)

What I ask is that you come with a concrete idea, a true character with feelings and quirks (as well as kinks they're canonically into) and so forth. Someone that the proud-yet-loose-and-playful Amel can bounce off of for our mutual enjoyment. All sorts of fantasy races are up for your choosing, whether they belong to FFXIV or not! My hard line though is that I refuse to play with characters canon to the story as it stands, OCs only. Perhaps some of the more important figures can appear on the periphery but I'm very much against getting intimate with any of them.

A shy Viera finding herself in need of a mate? A domineering Au Ra male looking for an outlet for his frustrations? A stoic, proud Mi'qote in search of obedience and service? The sky's the limit!

The Sexy Bits

A couple ground rules to begin with. Amel will not dominate cis-men. I simply can't imagine it in the slightest for his character and so I'm unfortunately explicitly asking you to set that aside. If that's your heart's desire, I truly am sorry to disappoint! However, I'm otherwise pansexual and a switch and see Amel as being much the same.

Next, slurs are thoroughly off the table. Don't even start down that path because to have them uttered in this context, even innocuously asking questions, makes me wade through discomfort to even muster a reply. The exception here is fictional discrimination. Should you play a non-Viera, disparaging Viera or any other fictional race (or humans writ large) is fine by me.

Now, as I said before Amel is a switch so I'll be breaking up kinks that he's interested in between sub and dom angles.

It's also very possible for me to play alongside another switch, mixing and matching what we're each into! Please do share your favorites and/or things you'd like to highlight which aren't necessarily 'kinks.' While I do appreciate people saying they're into what I'm into (hurray!) specifics go a long way.

Where does story fit into all this?

I’d say I’m most probably looking for 50/50 smut/story up to 80/20, depending on the particular scene we discuss. Wanton fucking has its place, as does a slow-burn with sex only sprinkled it. We can address this as we discuss what struck your fancy about this RP and figure out what works best for us. The broader story will likely be heavily informed by your character and the setting we choose so it’s hard to describe just what the long-term agenda might look like but at the very least I imagine we can involve my position as the figurehead of the city I reside in and general fantasy antics. Or, we could take a more political bent with fantasy as a backdrop. The possibilities are endless!

Regardless, I would like a a decent bit of incorporating the world in the background. That’s not to say we need to shoehorn in constant reminders of the setting but I appreciate very much when smaller things reinforce that we’re in a fantasy world, not a current-day hotel with some rustic wallpaper. Considerations to heating and plumbing (even if 'magic' is a lovely catch all for amenities I appreciate it being stated), races of all kinds populating the streets, nations in conflict in the background, adventurers' guilds, schools of magic, and so on. Fantasy worlds are vast places so I don’t think consistently sprinkling in little ideas will ultimately step on any toes, nor must you be a ceritifiable scholar of FFXIV lore to contribute-- as I said, we're not even bound to using that setting as far as I'm concerned. Bigger ideas tossed in, whole nations or species, may want to be kept track of but I doubt we'll accidentally over-populate the world. Should anything be iffy though you’re always encouraged to ask OOC in the midst of the RP, or to request things be tweaked a bit should an idea catch you off guard.

Addressing The Enby In The Room

Amel is written primarily as a cis-male and I'm happy to play as such, though I'm equally happy to play out a 'journey of discovery' so to speak with him being an 'enby-to-be' instead. I don't really see him stumbling into that identity on his own given how I imagine his upbringing to have been rather strict-- yes I know this is ultimately arbitrary and set up by me but I can't help but end up feeling like these characters I cook up have particular circumstances of their own. Anyway, this is not by any means required and I've nothing against playing 'M' here, I merely wished to offer some alternatives.
